چکیده

این مقاله حاصل کندوکاو در این مسئله است که؛ آیا تأمّل فلسفی در خصوص تکنولوژی هسته‌ای، از تأمّل عام فلسفی در باب تکنولوژی متمایز است یا خیر؟ و آیا چنین مطالعه‌ خاصّی می‌تواند بینشی در فلسفۀ تکنولوژی ارائه نماید؟ از دو رویکرد اصلی در فلسفه تکنولوژی؛ یعنی فلسفۀ کلاسیک تکنولوژی و فلسفۀ تکنولوژی پس از چرخش تجربی، نخست در چارچوب سنت‌هایی همچون مارکسیسم و پدیدارشناسی با توجه به کلّیت یا ذات (و نه تفاوت‌های انواع) تکنولوژی مدرن، به ارائۀ فراروایت‌هایی از تکنولوژی می‌‌پردازد. اما در فلسفۀ تکنولوژی با نگرش تجربی، ویژگی‌های خاصّ تکنولوژی‌های مختلف مورد دقت قرار می‌گیرد و نظریه‌پردازی، به بررسی تکنولوژی و توصیف دقیق آن می­پردازد. ادعای این مقاله این است که براساس نگرش متأخر در فلسفه تکنولوژی و با معرفی و تحلیل ویژگی‌های خاص تکنولوژی هسته‌ای، می‌توان فراروایت‌های فلاسفه کلاسیک تکنولوژی را در چنین تحلیلی ارزش گذاری کرد. البته از آنجا که فلسفه کلاسیک تکنولوژی و به‌ویژه دیدگاه هیدگر دربارۀ تکنولوژی، رویکردی ذات‌گرایانه است، از طریق مطالعه تجربی تکنولوژی هسته‌ای، قابل تأیید یا طرد نیست. بنابراین این مقاله صرفاً درصدد آن است که جنبه‌های سازگار فلسفه کلاسیک تکنولوژی با مورد خاص تکنولوژی هسته‌ای و نیز مواردی از محدودیت‌های این نگرش را در تحلیل تکنولوژی هسته‌ای نشان ‌دهد.

Philosophical Considerations on Nuclear Technology

Nuclear technology is the most controversial product of the past century and can be investigated as an important case study in the contemporary philosophy of technology. Theories of the classical philosophers of technology were generally about the nature of the modern technology as a whole and the dissimilarities of the different technologies are underestimated in these analyses. But, in the philosophy of technology after experimental turn, the specific features of different technologies are scrutinized. This approach to technology and its social significance is more concrete, more empirically informed, more constructivist and less pessimistic about technology than the classical one. In addition, the new approach places a greater emphasis on alternative ways of developing and using technologies. Based on the recent attitude in the philosophy of technology and with an analysis of the characteristics of nuclear technology, this article assesses the compatibility and limits of the classical philosophy of technology in enlightenment of nuclear technology.
