Abstract
It is commonly believed that thinking is only for philosophical discourse and philosophers. The main question of the research is as follows: How and in what way does thinking “with” painting take place? We can take a step towards answering the question by analyzing Deleuze’s ideas in his various sources and interpreting them in the structuring of the research ahead. for thinking, one must fight against the enemies of thought. Thinking in Deleuze’s view occurs when the flow of dogmatic assumptions and spontaneous thinking is interrupted. As the interruption of this flow, we encounter chaos. If thinking is to be done, then thinking must be done on that condition. The painter, relying on the logic of sensation, pure sensation composed of percept and affect, the plane of aesthetic composition complementary to pure sensation, drowns clichés in chaos. From that chaos, with the aid of pictorial concepts such as chaos-germ, the painter draws out diagram. With its aid and the experimentation of compatible relations and composition consistent with his own puissance, chaos and clichés are left behind and a new order is adopted to enter a new pictorial world. Creating a space of unprecedented possibilities for the actualization of the fact to the pictorial one is necessary. Ultimately, the painter experiences a new form of thinking as a condition for thinking.The pictorial concept, commands him how to breathe in the fresh air of the new order. This way of thinking levels logos and pathos and establishes the basis of ethos.
