But a point that has been almost ignored is that Barthes' attention to the problem of the referent in photography goes beyond mere structuralism. His works on these two seemingly distinct areas namely history and photography show that his critical attitude toward the tradition of objective historiography, through all his intellectual life, from structuralism to poststructuralism, has been present in different areas including photography. What Barthes looks for by analyzing the problem   of  referent  in  photography  is  indeed   the  problem  of  objective historiography and its relation to reality, which he believes is not representable. Doubting the possibility of objectivity in historiography, Barthes challenges within semiotic framework the notion of ”photo is equal with reality” and therefore criticizes the realistic approach in history and photography.}, keywords = {Historiography,myth,referent,Photography,Roland Barthes}, title_fa = {نسبت تاریخ‌نگاری با مسئلۀ مرجع در عکاسی نزد رولان بارت}, abstract_fa = {تاریخ‌نگاری عینی، به تعبیر دیگر، عینیت‌گرایی در تاریخ‌نگاری  و مسئلۀ وجود مرجع واقعی در عکاسی به ظاهر پیوند آشکاری با هم ندارند، چنان‌که بیشتر جستارهای معاصر که دربارۀ نسبت تاریخ و عکاسی نگاشته شده‌اند با توجه به تعاریف جدید از قابلیت بازنمایی عکاسی و بدون توجه صریح به جریان‌های تاریخ‌نگاری نوشته شده‌اند؛گرچه همگی در نقد بازنمایی عکاسانه به آثار رولان بارت و دیگر هم عصرانش، به عنوان متون کلاسیک این حوزه، ارجاع داده‌اند. اما نکته‌ای که کمتر بدان پرداخته شده است آن است که توجه بارت به مسئلۀ مرجع در عکاسی فراتر از ساختارگرایی صرف است و بازخوانی آراء بارت در دو حوزۀ به ظاهر متفاوت تاریخ‌نگاری و عکاسی نشان می‌دهد که نگرش انتقادی او به سنت تاریخ‌نگاری عینی در تمام مسیر فکری‌اش، از ساختارگرایی تا پساساختارگرایی، در حوزه‌های مختلف از جمله عکاسی حاضر بوده است. به عبارت دیگر، آنچه بارت در واکاوی مسئلۀ مرجع در عکاسی جستجو می‌کند در اصل همان مسئلۀ تاریخ‌نگاری عینی و نسبت آن با واقعیت است، همان واقعیتی که از نگاه او قابل بازنمایی نیست. بارت، که در واکاوی ساختار روایت‌های تاریخی بر امکان عینی‌گرایی در تاریخ‌نگاری تردیدهای جدی وارد می‌کند، در جستجو برای یافتن مرجع عکس‌ها در حوزۀ نشانه‌شناسی، اسطورۀ «عکس مساوی با واقعیت است» را به چالش می‌کشد و بدین ترتیب رویکرد واقع‌گرایی را در تاریخ و عکاسی از منظر نشانه‌شناسی به پرسش می‌گیرد.}, keywords_fa = {تاریخ‌نگاری,اسطوره,مرجع,نشانه‌شناسی,عکاسی,رولان بارت}, url = {https://wph.atu.ac.ir/article_10114.html}, eprint = {https://wph.atu.ac.ir/article_10114_714c1496768cb7151adfa8393e01ab5c.pdf} }
