چکیده

مسئله ارتباط مجرد و مادی یکی از مسائل مهم در فلسفه است. نفس به دلیل هویت دوگانه‌ای که دارد، می‌تواند نقشی واسطه‌ای را میان عالم عقل و طبیعت را ایفا کند. نقش واسطه‌گری نفس، در فلسفه افلوطین و ملاصدرا به دو شکل متفاوت ترسیم شده است. از دیدگاه افلوطین، نفس دارای جنبه‌ای فرودین و جنبه‌ای عالی است. جنبه عالی نفس متصل به عقل است و هرگز تنزل نمی‌کند. اما نفس دارای جنبه فروتری نیز هست که با ماده در ارتباط است. به نظر او، نفس حتی در مرتبه فروتر نیز کاملاً مجرد و انفعال‌ناپذیر است. ارتباط نفس مجرد با ماده از طریق طبیعت انجام می‌شود که خود پرتوی از وجود نفس کل است. اما نزد ملاصدرا، نفس امری است که با حدوث بدن حادث می‌شود و سپس به تدریج مجرد می‌شود. در این دیدگاه، نفس در ابتدا تنها از نوعی تجرد مثالی یا ناقص برخوردار است، اما امکان ترقی به مقام تجرد عقلانی یا تام برای او وجود دارد. ملاصدرا از طریق ترسیم رابطه اتحادی میان نفس و بدن و اصل حرکت جوهری سعی در حل مشکل ارتباط مجرد و مادی کرده است.

چکیده [English]

The relationship between incorporeal and material things is one of the most important issues in philosophy. Two-fold nature of Soul let it to be mediation between the intellect and the matter. This role of the soul is explained differently in the Plotinus and Mulla-sadra's philosophy. In Plotinus’ philosophy, the soul has two parts: higher and lower. The higher part is connected to the intellect realm and the lower one associated with the body. The soul is absolutely unaffected even in the lower part. Nature, which is the manifestation of the universal soul, is the mediator between the body and the immaterial soul. But soul in Mulla-sadra's point of view is not completely immaterial. The soul can become immaterial through the substantial movement. As a result, the soul involves the immaterial and corporeal worlds.
